Where were you when the planes hit?
I remember that day like it was yesterday. I walked into my micro class on the campus. It was quite. The news was on the screen. People were quietly crying. The world stopped. My world stopped. I was so young. I did not even come close to comprehending what was happening, how it would effect the future.  
I cannot believe it’s been 20 years since that awful day. My heart still feels tight when I think about those who lost their lives not just on September 11th, 2001,
but also the incredibly selfless servicemen and servicewomen who gave their lives, limbs, blood, sweat, and tears in the past 20 years. We will never be able
to repay them for their sacrifices.
