One of my main philosophies as a photographer, mother, and business owner, is to create beauty and do good.   I LOVE pairing with local charities to improve the lives of those in our community. I am often at awe at the amazing volunteers who give unceasingly of their time and talents to bring about change for the better. This past year, I had the opportunity to work with United Way on their day of giving. Churches, charities, celebrities and individuals came together all across the Lake Norman area and worked countless hours on many service projects. It was Spectacular!! I was so grateful to be able to document the event and offer my services. 

Breast Cancer Awareness is a cause near and dear to my heart. My sweet mother lost her long battle with the disease in 2012. I try to honor her memory by volunteering my time to worthy causes that help survivors, research, treatment and all aspects of fighting cancer. The Hope Runway is an amazing organization that puts on fun nights that honor survivors and raises funds for breast cancer research. The thing that is so heartwarming about this event is that all the models are breast cancer survivors and all the fashion is provided by local businesses. Their strength radiated as they walked down the runway and made them more than just beautiful.
