Hello my darlings,

Here is Charlotte, NC...... winter truly doesn't descend upon us until January. This is the time of year that we wake up to the fields covered in a glorious frost that looks as if fairies kissed the earth and left their sparkling dust everywhere they went. We cozy up in soft blankets and drink mugs of hot coco by the fire. For a photographer, this is often our slower season. And boy is it welcome. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE photographing Charlotte area and Lake Norman Area graduating seniors. I do! But everyone needs a little rest every now and then.

That being said..... I LOVE WINTERERY WHITE PHOTOS!!!! Every year I have a few adventurous Seniors who want some wintery images. Its all chunky sweaters, cute boots, and wrapping up for the cold. I love it! The white frost makes everything so clean and sparkly. Sure.... we might get a little pink and chilly during the shoot. But the images are always totally worth it. This image was taken on the Torrence Creek Greenway in the Lake Norman area one January morning. Her whole session was just stunning! They were so unique and we had the best time!!! 

So, if you have a hankering for some winter images, call me up. I pull out the faux fur and we will have a blast!!

Now Im off to read a book by the fire!
