Location Location Location! Planning for your Senior pictures can seem overwhelming, but it can be super simple when you start with the big picture and work your way down. For Caroline's Senior Session, she knew she wanted field pictures, artsy vibey image, and city scape looks! Perfect! I helped to pick out locations that would give us those looks. Then we moved to wardrobe. I always have a few favorite shops for senior styling: Target, H&M, Free People, Urban Outfitters, Lulus, and local boutiques. We style the outfit to compliment our location, so that everything tells the story we are creating. But more on styling later. Lets get back to location! 

Normally, I have a few fields in the Lake Norman Area that I use for senior pictures, but this time of year, there are wild flowers growing up over old railroad tracks at one of my favorite urban locations! So we show up and use a variety of spots around the area, changing outfits as we go. 

Then we travel over to a parking garage to get get our final Charlotte city scape image. This was tons of fun! We had to get a little creative to get the shots but we did it!

 Once we had our locations in Charlotte pinned down, planning the rest of the senior pictures was easy! I love how they turned out!
