The Perfect Skin for your Senior Session!

The beauty industry is always changing and the newest trend with beauty specialists is to enhance your complexion, not cover it up. The goal is to not look overly edited and fake, but to look beautifully natural. So how do we accomplish this?

1) Natural foundation that is smooth and completely blended in. NOT CAKED ON. This isn't a clown photoshoot (unless you are a graduating senior for clown school). Are you a pro at foundation? SWEET!! Need help? No problem. At Allison Hinman Photography, we have contacts with some of the best Make-up Artists in the the Charlotte/Lake Norman area. Some do airbrush, others use other techniques, but Natural is the key!

2) Pores. Yes Pores. We should see them! If we over edit, those pores disappear and while you might look "perfect" you also don't look like you. And in the end, our clients want to look like the best version of themselves. Not some overly edited plastic doll. So here at AHP, we will for sure edit out those pimples (everyone has them). BUT we wont airbrush you into someone that you are not. 

3)Customizable editing. Soooooo.......truth be told....sometimes there are things that you dont want in your senior pictures. Maybe you are getting your teeth whitened next month, but right now, you have a bad case of Starbucks Teeth. Maybe you got a cut in your last lacrosse game and while its a  cool battle scar, your momma doesn't really want it in the pictures. That's totally ok, and ..... super common. A lot of my clients have things that they want to be touched up. A I have spent a LOT of time perfecting my photoshop game.  So if there is something you want me to address in post processing. Just ask.
