Today is the first day of fall and we are so pumped to see the new fall fashion trends coming through this season! We’ve already seen a few fall hauls from our favorite shops and have noticed a few fall staples that are hitting hard this year! Here’s 5 fun fall trends to wear in your senior pics & how to wear them:

1. leather: leather pants are super IN this season! Great pieces to wear with leather pants are anything with a softer texture (think balance) like cashmere, faux fur, wool, and other cozy materials. Not ready for leather pants? That’s ok! Opt for a leather jacket or skirt instead!

2. faux fur: big, oversized, faux fur coats and jackets are very in season! Keep it classic with natural tones or go for fun with a big pop of color in your fur! Either way is absolutely beautiful can add a fun element to your session outfit!

3. flannel: this 90’s grunge fave is making a big come back this year! A great way to wear this retro staple piece is in a complimentary color of your main outfit and in neutral tones to keep it iconic.

4. blazer: this fabulous piece can be dressed up or dressed down - however you want to wear it! Throw it over a pair of leather pants and heels to be ultra sophisticated or opt to pair it with some ripped jeans and kicks for a casual feel.

5. maxi dresses: these are HUGE this fall and we’re seeing them in tons of fall and neutral tones. Look for trapeze style dresses if you’re wanting a boho style or ribbed and close to the body for a more downtown cozy feel.
